Whitehead Signs was established in 1975 by Neil & Gillian Whitehead. Gillian passed away in late October 2007 but Neil   still continues as proprietor operator, giving the same quality & service that has been a hallmark of our success over the past 30 years of business.

Our modern sign & design studio provides a comprehensive sign service which includes traditional signwriting, computer cut vinyl graphics, wide format digital printing, illuminated plastic and neon signs, sign fabrication and a full graphic design service.

In addition to the above we also specialise in computerized 3D and 2D router engraving and cut out letters in wood, plastic and metal using our Multi Cam Router which is the only one of its type operating in Northland.                                                                
Our new Roland Digital Printer is capable of producing top quality photo images on high performance vinyl's, banners & posters up to 1350mm in width. Therefore Whitehead Signs can offer a full & comprehensive digital solution to fulfill any clients requirements.

In addition our Bondmaster wide format laminating machine is the largest of its type in Northland with an overall laminating width of 1400mm. We are able to laminate in gloss & matt large posters, maps & drawings.

Our sign technicians are experienced in all aspects of sign manufacture. We are regularly committed to re-training in all aspects of new  technology & methods of sign production that are being developed worldwide. Our award winning graphic designers are continually sourcing the latest in design trends & ideas which can be immediately implemented into a unique design presentation for your business. 

We operate an on-going quality control and inspection policy with regard to the production of all signage. Clients can be assured that when they are talking to one of our sign specialists that they have access to the most up to date information available.
